THIS TOOK SO MANY FRIGGIN LAYERS IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!
IMing with ~sweetdevilchick to keep myself going. (I had just gotten home from a beautiful free production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream") I jumped on the bandwagon! I was one of the last people to hear about this contest. As soon as I read the article, I opened up PS, put on my music and got to work. I had already began making concept art for an alternate CexCells booklet ([link]) and incorperated that into the piece. I have the curse of always wanting to make things too detailed and it shows here. It's supposed to be a simple poster but didn't turn out that way. I may upload a less complicated version too. I doubt this has any chance of winning. (If you have the time, check out the other entries. There are some SPECTACULAR pieces.) I really don't care. It was worth the many hours and layers it took because I really enjoyed putting it together. I have uploaded the BMP version of this. I also have PSD and JPEG versions.
