Please stop giving my people a bad name.

I know I just wrote a journal but I'm outraged. This isn't just a rant. It's much more personal than that.

To a particular person that I will not name:

1. Please stop saying that any who is anti-Israel is a terrorist. What about the millions of perfectly normal people that the Israeli government banished from their homes? I'm personally not pro or anti-Israel, I'm just saying that there are multiple sides to every issue.

2. Please stop saying that Leviticus preaches homophobia. It says that god doesn't support men doing with men what they do with women (which can be taken different ways,) but it says nothing about love and DEFINITELY is not supposed to promote hatred or open displays of prejudice.

3. Please stop saying that everyone who is not your religion is wrong and bad and that people who disagree with you are idiots. Selfishness is a sin.

4. Please stop preaching conformity. Abraham rebelled against his father and rebellion is imbued within our culture. It's not something that you can (or should) preach away. How about saying that breathing is a sin too?

6. Please stop telling everyone who will listen that you automatically know exactly what's right. That's something that's gained with experience, not the words of the authority of others.

7. Please stop making me and others like me ashamed to be Jewish.
